The practice provides the following medical services:
Antenatal clinic
Community Midwife.
Antenatal care is provided by our midwife. For patients booked other than at Lewisham, antenatal care may be provided at another surgery or at a hospital on a shared care basis.
Asthma Clinic
Nurse Julie Morton
Open to all asthmatics for assessment, advice and management of symptoms. Appointment required with the nurse.
Cervical smears
Our practice nurse takes most smears and these are by appointment only.
Coronary Heart Disease clinic
Coronary heart disease patients, such as those with a history of angina/previous heart attack, will be invited to attend a review clinic.
Counselling clinic
Dr Alyson Bond and Mike Bracken
These clinics deal with problems with relationships, work, anxiety or depression. GP referral required.
Diabetic clinic
Nurses Julie Morton
Open to all diabetics for assessment, advice and management of symptoms.
District Nurses
The district nurses can provide care for patients who are confined to their homes and who need nursing assistance and/or provision of disability aids. The district nurses call into the surgery on a regular basis and can be contacted direct on 020 3049 3000.

Health Promotion consulations
The nurse can carry out well-man and well-woman checks, incorporating health screening and lifestyle advice. Please bring a sample or urine with you.
Health Visitor
The health visitors have an office at Lee Health Centre, telephone 020 3049 2077. They are available at the Baby Clinic on Mondays 1.30 - 3.30pm. They are particularly concerned with the health care of expectant mothers and children under five.
Influenza and Pneumococcal immunisations
These will be administered during October to December. Please make an appointment at reception.
Minor surgery
Dr. Pierpoint
The doctor carries out minor surgical procedures at the surgery by appointment and he will be happy to advise you on this.
Non-NHS examinations
Some services fall outside the remit of the NHS and for these a charge may be made, recommended by the British Medical Association. These include private health insurance forms, private medical certificates and various reports/examinations for pre-employment and insurance purposes. These appointments can be arranged outside normal surgery hours.
Travel advice & vaccinations
Travel health consultations are available with the nurses providing health advice and vaccinations. If possible try to book at least six weeks prior to departure. If you try to book less than 4 weeks prior to travel you may be advised to attend a local travel clinic instead.
There may be a charge for some of the vaccinations given.
Well baby clinic, 6-8 week baby checks & postnatal check-ups
Monday 1.30 - 3.30pm Dr Holloway and Dr Melchor
For postnatal, six week baby checks and immunisations, please make an appointment at reception. No appointments are needed for baby weighing and/or general advice with the Health Visitor.
Chiropody Clinic:
The practice accommodates a private chiropodist, Jane Mould-Jones, who is available for appointments Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Please ask at reception for further details.
